Yankee Doodle boy : a young soldier's adventures in the American Revolution : production material, ca. 1964.

Ink illustrations, maps in ink. In 1776 a 15-year-old Connecticut farmboy enlisted in a revolutionary regiment. He served seven years in the Continentals and saw action in little skirmishes and in many of the major campaigns. Back home, Joseph Martin wrote a forthright, colorful, and often humorous account of his experiences, here edited for young adult readers.
